Atelier Materi Cacao Porcelana
The perfume features an exceptional and unusual aromatic ingredient: white cocoa.
Cacao Porcelana is inspired by the founder's childhood memories spent with her grandparents, surrounded by dominant scents of chocolate, tobacco, and patchouli-based perfumes.
This rare variety of white cocoa grows in the heart of the oldest plantations in Peru, in Piura. Hand-harvested from pods, the seeds undergo fermentation before being dried and roasted.
To preserve all the wonderful notes of white cocoa, the perfumer collaborated with French chocolate makers to obtain perfectly roasted cocoa, which has sensual nutty and milky tones, enhanced by tonka.
The perfume opens with rum, followed by a bitter cocoa softened with powdery and woody notes. The base features light tobacco, patchouli, and sandalwood.
