BDK Parfums Vanille Caviar

In a 25% concentration, Vanille Caviar explores the power of black, a color we will never experience as a mere shadow again: we discover that it is a source of light. Vanilla, elevated to the pedestal of a noble perfumery substance, usually creamy and gourmand, here becomes dark, dense, and textured, yet still infused with light.

Originating from orchids, vanilla bears a flower of otherworldly beauty. Its sensual and irresistible scent shimmers even within this fragrance composition.

Vanilla absolute, obtained through CO₂ extraction, has preserved the full richness of vanilla’s nuances. Wrapped in resinous, balsamic materials, it reveals its entire depth. The caviar-vanilla accord carries salty, mineral notes, precious and unique. To accentuate them, the perfumer used fresh cardamom and currants. Seemingly black and monochromatic, vanilla here takes on an artistic form that, like modernist paintings, features surfaces that attract and repel light, creating a play of dark and darker.
