Maison Crivelli x Metropoliten x Homa
A perfume experience never happens the same way twice: it is a symphony of sensations, taste, touch, and sound.
— Thibaud Crivelli
We first met the creator of Maison Crivelli in the Metropoliten perfumery in Dorćol five years ago, when he visited us to personally present his fragrances, freshly arrived on our shelves. We remember the passion with which he spoke about his inspirations — each Maison Crivelli perfume is rooted in his personal experiences while living in up to ten Asian countries that, for a time, became home to this Provence-born Frenchman. Or in his journeys to extraordinary destinations rich in sensory wonder: fields of saffron in a snowy desert, the aroma of coffee sipped on the slope of an erupting volcano...
Thibaud Crivelli infused his fragrances with a spirit of excitement and adventure through unexpected combinations of rare raw materials. He also embedded sustainability into his brand — participating in the development of sustainable production of scented ingredients. For every three bottles of Crivelli perfume sold, one patchouli seedling is planted in Indonesia.
Thibaud Crivelli arrived in Belgrade’s HOMA restaurant for an event dedicated to the fusion of sensory experiences inspired by the brand’s latest perfume creations. Scent, taste, light, and music blended into a single impression bathed in red and gold, illuminated by candlelight and paired with food and wines from the renowned Michelin-recommended restaurant. Media representatives and Maison Crivelli enthusiasts were able to speak with the founder and, in this elegant and warm sensory setting, revisit his newest creations and bestselling perfumes such as Cuir Infrarouge, Hibiscus Mahajád, and Tubereuse Astrale.
Did we detect saffron, bergamot, rose, red pepper, vanilla in the dishes Homa served? Were the molecules of these natural culinary and fragrant ingredients floating through the room — did the food amplify the perfumes and vice versa? Of course.
It was an evening of slow enjoyment — challenges for the palate from Homa’s kitchen, temptations for the scent receptors from Crivelli perfumes, specially curated music, and that soft, joyful murmur of a group of people having a truly wonderful time.
