Metropoliten Has Taken a New Corner in Vračar
Our perfumery in Vračar has moved: it now has a new address, a new design, and a new floor, along with the beloved perfume brands we all cherish.
When we opened Metropoliten in Vračar four years ago, we waited with a hint of excitement, anticipating the inevitable comparisons to our first, large, and airy perfumery in Dorćol. The rivalry between these two central Belgrade neighborhoods, each unique in its creativity, prestige, and charm, was bound to reflect on Metropoliten as well.
The Vračar Metropoliten was smaller and more intimate. Dark walls softened the shadows, while wooden shelves and brass design details evoked a sense of timelessness and the long-standing prestige of this historic Belgrade quarter. Over time, the locals discovered and embraced their perfumery, and after four years, it was time to broaden horizons, raise the bar, add another floor, and claim a new corner.
Like its Dorćol counterpart, the Vračar Metropoliten will illuminate a corner, with views stretching from Njegoševa to Kursulina Street through large display windows. Light will filter through the same fragrance bottles in both perfumeries. The experience of choosing a perfume will remain an equally exciting journey, one we will guide you through with dedication, patience, and expertise. Everything else will be authentic, and different.
Metropoliten places great importance on the design of its spaces. They are not only meant to serve as galleries worthy of these noble, exclusive fragrance creations but also to leave a mark on the urban face of the city—a city whose values we respect and preserve while enriching it with new creative elements.
The concept we have nurtured since 2005 when the first Serbian niche perfumery made its debut with an ambitious name and the idea to introduce the metropolis to new perfume concepts and different experiences in fragrance selection and shopping, has earned Metropoliten recognition and respect beyond Serbia’s borders.
