Frederic Malle Eau De Magnolia
This women’s perfume is the result of a creative process that unfolded through a conversation between the founder of the house and the perfumer: Frédéric Malle and Carlos Benaïm. They spoke at length about magnolia and the fact that its scent is closer to cologne than to a classic floral perfume. Carlos suggested enhancing the citrus facet of magnolia and adding a woody aromatic vibration to create a cologne-style fragrance. The result is a fresh chypre-type perfume, formally masculine, yet remarkably transparent with a dark base (featuring notes of vetiver and patchouli), echoing with a touch of mystery. A timeless summer fragrance.
Notes: citrus, oakmoss, magnolia
