“The idea was to create candles that smell exactly like natural raw materials — not like candles. I focused on one specific olfactory moment in the life of each of these natural ingredients, because I believe in their raw beauty,” says Aurélien Guichard, founder of the brand.
Tubereuse Grasse evokes a warm summer evening, just days before the autumn tuberose harvest in Grasse. Through this fragrance, Guichard sought to capture the full sensuality of this opulent flower grown in the south of France.
The candles contain 95% natural wax, with an average burn time of around 50 hours. Each candle features a pure cotton wick. The vessels are hand-filled with wax and crafted from Czech crystal, individually polished to achieve a radiant brilliance, with a hand-lacquered interior.
