Parfums de Marly Layton
Layton is a rich, imaginative, and explosive fragrance that captivates with strength and enthusiasm. This deep, woody scent is crafted for true connoisseurs—those who seek to be surprised and dazzled. A vibrant opening of bergamot and apple gives way to a heart of cinnamon, lavender, oud (agarwood), and geranium. The base is warm and enveloping, composed of guaiac wood, vanilla, and sweet cypriol. A nod to the tradition of classic men’s perfumes, reimagined with a modern twist.
The brand’s logo, featured on every cap, depicts the famous horse sculptures commissioned by Louis XV for his estate in 1743—originals that are still preserved in the Louvre today.
Parfums de Marly is a French perfume house founded by Julien Sprecher in 2009. Inspired by the opulence of the Château de Marly—known as the royal playground where Louis XV hosted a select circle of privileged guests—the brand is a celebration of French cultural heritage through a fusion of tradition and modernity, luxury and elegance.
The men’s fragrance bottles are embossed with the emblem of two thoroughbred horses, referencing the prestigious breed developed under Louis XV's patronage. These horses inspired the names of several Parfums de Marly fragrances, including Godolphin, Athalia, Safanad, and Percival.
