The first Comme des Garçons “anti-perfume,” Odeur 53, was created by blending 53 unusual notes: oxygen, metal scent, carbon, nail polish, and fresh mountain air, resulting in an unprecedented, modern, sharp, mineral, and inorganic scent. It was followed by Odeur 71, which smelled like a warm photocopier.
