Three young Parisians founded the brand Ex Nihilo in 2013 as an alternative to the stereotypes of luxury.
“Ex Nihilo” is a Latin term for creating something new without previous references. Indicating a radical desire to break all ties with the past to build a new idea, avant-garde is the starting point of an ideology based on experimentation and modernity. Luxury is their natural environment.
The fragrance house draws inspiration from free thinkers, new talents in perfumery and architecture, designers, and stubborn glassblowers. By opening new avenues of collaboration between perfumers, the latest technologies, and the artistic community, they respond to the demands and desires of a passionate generation seeking the most inspiring discoveries.
