The scents of his childhood, spent near the family’s cellars, haunted him even when he decided to dedicate his academic work to the semantics of scent, that shared language of humans and gods.

He searched for the “angel’s share” — the term used in the cognac world for the portion that evaporates from the barrels, which led him into the world of perfume. It's no surprise that the aromas of cognac, barrels, and cellar vapors can be found in Kilian perfumes.

After his studies, he continued training under some of the world’s greatest perfumers, working in the most prestigious perfume houses like Dior, Paco Rabanne, McQueen, and Armani.

His passion for creation led him to launch his brand in 2007, a perfect blend of elegance and absolute luxury, without compromise. In Kilian perfumes, besides the connection to luxury drinks, one can also find his passion for nightlife and elegance.
