Born in Paris, Crivelli grew up near Provence and later lived in ten different Asian countries, starting with China.
He drank fragrant coffee on the slopes of an erupting volcano, rode through cocoa plantations on a motorcycle, smelled a rose 60 meters below the sea's surface and walked through saffron fields in a snowy desert. These intense experiences of surprising textures, sounds, tastes, and scents were so profound that he decided to share them with others through perfumes, enlisting renowned perfumers worldwide to create them.
