Roja Parfums Diaghilev
Inspired by one of the great visionaries of the 20th century, DIAGHILEV is a theatrical creation — an homage to an artistic figure who defied convention and brought a bold spirit into the world of art.
With this fragrance, ROJA offers a scented symphony that seeks to capture the pulse and excitement of an opera season opening night. A virtuoso composition built around a 33-ingredient chypre accord, featuring a floral heart of jasmine, tuberose, and heliotrope, accentuated by fruity notes of blackcurrant, peach, and citrus, and laid on a base of warm, earthy patchouli, moss, benzoin, leather, and labdanum.
Just like the artist it’s named after, this perfume is one of a kind — too decadent and extravagant to be forgotten once experienced.
Originally created for an exhibition on Russian ballet at the Victoria & Albert Museum in London, this perfume pays tribute to Sergei Diaghilev, one of the greatest ballet figures of the 20th century — who, it is said, would perfume the stage curtains so that, as they rose, the fragrance would drift out into the audience.
