Product description
Metropoliten guarantees the quality and origin of its products. The products on Metropoliten website are original brands. All products are purchased directly from the manufacturer or from the only authorized distributors that are supplied directly from the manufacturer.
Metropoliten strives to describe all products on the website as accurately as possible. Products are presented by brands and categories. Products are presented in text and shown in photos. A photo of the product that represents the group can serve as a basic information about the appearance of the product. Please note that the product photo is provided for informational purposes only and we cannot guarantee that it unconditionally faithfully depicts the appearance of the product. If you have any additional questions about the product, you can contact or visit our retail stores. If the product you purchased has a defect, we offer you the option of exchanging the product or returning it. For more information, you can see the Returns section and the Complaints section.
Product prices
All prices displayed on our website are expressed in dinars, including VAT, without transport costs or decorative product packaging. We undertake to deliver the product to you at the price you were informed about when confirming your order, and any possible price changes of the specific products you ordered will not affect the value of your purchase.
Depending on the final value of your order, shipping costs may be included in the displayed price or charged additionally. For more information on shipping costs, please see the Shipping Costs section.
Shipping costs
Delivery is done exclusively on the territory of Serbia by courier service. If the value of your shipment does not exceed the amount of 50.000,00 RSD when the shipment is delivered, you will also be charged transport costs, in accordance with the valid courier service tariff. Metropolitan bears the delivery costs for orders over 50.000,00 RSD.
Product packaging
The products you order through Metropoliten website will be packed in a way that protects the integrity of the shipment (transport packaging). If you wish the ordered products to be delivered wrapped in decorative foil as a gift, you can leave a comment and let us know about it.
Delivery methods
The goods ordered on Metropoliten website can be delivered the following ways:
- To the registered address: the goods are delivered by courier service to the address you provided as your address when registering on the website;
- To a different address: if you want the ordered goods to be delivered to a different address than the one you provided as your address during registration, you can emphasize this when creating the order.
IMPORTANT NOTICE! We recommend that you investigate the condition of the shipment before taking it over from the courier.
It is very important that you note all transport damage visible on the transport packaging before taking over the shipment. If you notice damage to the transport package, ask the courier to wait for you to open the package and check whether the damage to the package caused damage to the delivered items. If you notice irregularities on the item itself, return the delivered item by courier.
If you fail to determine the damage before collection, we recommend that you contact the courier service that delivered the package within 24 hours of delivery in order to compile a record of the damage. By following this procedure, your rights will be protected in the most effective way.
Payment methods
Metropolitan supports the following payment methods:
- payment slip
- payment cards
Payment slip (advance payment) - You can make the payment at any post office or bank in the Republic of Serbia territory. The total value to be paid includes the value of the ordered products (not the costs of delivery of the order). After receiving the payment report, the order becomes active and further processing follows. You will receive an example of the payment slip with the data that you should copy into the original payment slip after we confirm the details of the order.
Payment with payment cards - When entering payment card data, confidential information is transmitted via a public network in a protected (encrypted) form using the SSL protocol and PKI system, as currently the most modern cryptographic technology. Data security during purchases is guaranteed by the payment card processor, Banca Intesa ad Beograd, so the entire payment process is carried out on the bank's website. Payment card information is not available to our system at any moment. Cards accepted in our online store are: Visa, Master Card and American Express.
Complaints
Our many years of successful business is an indicator, amongst other things, of the special relationship we have built with our consumers. Our main goal is to establish a relationship of trust with you and provide you with services in everything according to your wishes and needs. A customer who is completely satisfied with our products and service is our primary goal. If you happen to be dissatisfied with the delivered product, rest asured that your complaint will be resolved in accordance with the applicable legal norms.
Metropoliten does not guarantee delivery for incomplete and incorrect orders. We guarantee a refund or product replacement, if the product is delivered damaged in any way, as well as if we sent you a product that you did not order. We accept complaints within 24 hours of receiving the shipment. In the event of a complaint, the buyer is obliged to return the shipment to the trader at his own expense. Refunds/exchanges are made upon receipt of the returned product and after the complaint has been approved. Refunds
In the case of returning goods and refunding funds to a customer who previously paid with one of the payment cards, partially or in full amount, and regardless of the reason for the return, Metropolitan is obliged to make the refund exclusively via VISA, EC/MC and Maestro payment methods, which means that the bank will refund the funds to the card user's account at the seller's request.
Return of goods
If upon receiving the shipment:
- you find that a product you did not order was delivered to you by Metropoliten's mistake
- you find that, due to Metropoliten's mistake, in addition to the product you ordered, a product that you did not order was also delivered and invoiced, or if for some reason you changed your mind and canceled the purchase
you have the right to return disputed products to Metropoliten, and we will refund your money or exchange the product for another product, according to your request.
The conditions under which we allow such returns are as follows:
- the goods you return to us must be unopened and unused
- no more than 14 days have passed since the day the goods were delivered to you (including non-working days)
- you have filled out and sent us the Statement of withdrawal for online shopping or the contract concluded outside the business premises to the e-mail address [email protected]
- Metropoliten has acknowledged receipt of the Declaration of withdrawal for online shopping or off-premises contracts
- you have packed the product before transport in an adequate way that reduces the risk of its damage during transport;
- along with the product, you have attached all the documents that were handed to you during the delivery (invoice, cash receipt, delivery note, etc.)
- Metropolitan has confirmed receipt of a shipment that meets the condition for a refund
Within 14 days of receipt of the item in good order, Metropolitan will refund the amount paid to you by payment to the account specified by you in the Online Purchase Cancellation Statement or off-premises contract.
IMPORTANT NOTES!
Metropolitan is not responsible for any damage that occurs as a result of not properly packaging the items you wish to return prior to shipping. It is possible that the product will be delivered to us damaged as a result and you will not be able to use your right to unilateral termination and refund. Therefore, please pack the products you want to return in an adequate way.
In accordance with legal norms, you are obliged to bear the costs of return.
Changes to general conditions
Metropolitan reserves the right to change all of the above conditions.
Registered users will be notified of all changes to these general conditions via their registered e-mail address. It is considered that the users are aware of the changes to the general conditions during each subsequent order, after sending the notification.
