Trudon Les Albatres Hemera
Elegant and unique alabaster vessels that hold this collection of Trudon candles are crafted in Spain, carved from a single block of material. The texture of alabaster is almost perfect for candles: the part closest to the flame reveals its whitish patterns, emphasizing the elegance of alabaster.
Héméra represents that elusive moment when dawn breaks on the horizon. Named after the ancient Greek goddess who embodies daylight that drives away the night, the candle carries a fresh and intoxicating scent, spiced with coriander and pink pepper, with sensual base notes of sandalwood and cashmere wood.
Héméra, through its symbolism and scent, invites us on a spiritual journey—an escapist voyage into the unexplored regions of Burma, following Buddhist traces toward the center of awakened consciousness: Kathmandu.
Top notes: coriander, incense, rose
Heart notes: cedar, iris, nutmeg
Base notes: amber, patchouli, sandalwood
Burn time: 55 to 60 hours.
Candle care: When using for the first time, allow the candle to burn until the entire top surface has melted. To preserve the fragrance, do not burn the candle for longer than two hours while the first third of the wax is consumed, and no more than one hour for the remaining two thirds. If necessary, center the wick while the wax is still warm, then wait for it to harden before lighting again. If you notice black smoke, trim the wick—the optimal length is up to 5 mm. Do not allow the candle to burn all the way down; leave 5 mm of wax.
Note: Never leave a burning candle unattended. Keep it out of reach of pets and children, and away from curtains. Protect the surface on which the candle stands from heat.
