Trudon Scented Candle Esterel
Mimosa was brought to Europe from Australia by British botanists in the early 19th century, and its delicate, sun-colored flowers soon became a symbol of the French Riviera.
The mimosa trees first blossomed and filled the gardens near Nice with fragrance, stretching all the way to the foothills of the Esterel Mountains.
This region was a favored winter retreat for British nobility and wealthy families.
Today, the mimosa from the Esterel foothills is considered one of the most fragrant in the world.
Trudon Esterel candles transport you to the south of France during the mimosa blooming season.
Notes: bergamot, mimosa, iris
Burn time: 55 to 60 hours
Candle care: For the first use, allow the candle to burn until the entire surface has melted evenly.
To preserve the fragrance, do not burn the candle for more than two hours during the first third of the wax, and no longer than one hour during the remaining two-thirds.
If necessary, center the wick while the wax is still soft, then allow it to harden before relighting.
If you notice black smoke, trim the wick—the optimal length is up to 5 mm.
Do not allow the candle to burn all the way down—leave about 5 mm of wax at the bottom.
Note: Never leave a burning candle unattended.
Keep it out of reach of children and pets, and away from curtains.
Protect the surface under the candle from heat.
