Une Nuit Nomade Chemin D'Amande
Once upon a time, before Portugal had even received its name, the southern lands were ruled by the Moorish king Ibn-Almundim. Returning from victorious military campaigns, he brought slaves with him. Among them was Gilda, a beauty, queen of one of the northern lands of that era. Gilda longed for snow and ached with nostalgia for her homeland. No royal physician could cure her.
Then a mysterious old woman whispered to the king to plant almond trees. One day, the entire valley awoke blanketed in white almond blossoms, and color returned to Gilda’s cheeks.
Algarve, in southern Portugal, has always been the kingdom of the almond blossom, perpetuating this ancient myth.
This perfume extract, inspired by that story, exudes the scent of a light, warm breeze touched with the fragrance of freshly harvested Notes: almond, wheat absolute, Bourbon vanilla.
